When one names a hurricane ``Felix,'' one can expect it to act like its namesake, Felix the Cat. It is the nature of a cat to be obstinate and not do what is expected of it. If one opens the door for a cat, it will rarely go through immediately. It will take its time and then scoot through just as one loses patience and closes the door. At this moment (Thursday at 4 p.m.) Felix appears to be the Cheshire Cat from Alice's Adventures in Wonderland. If one recalls that cat, it sat on a limb with a big smile on its face and slowly disappeared, leaving only the smile!
