Rosalie C. Forbes, 69, of the 1400 block of Buff St., died Aug. 24, 1995, in her residence in Chesapeake.
Mrs. Forbes, the widow of Elwood M. Forbes, was born in Ashville, N.C. She was a homemaker and a member of South Norfolk Church of Christ, Chesapeake.
Survivors include two sons, Larry E. Forbes of Ponte Vedra Beach, Fla., and Stanley L. Forbes of Chesapeake; four sisters, Anna Ingram and Elizabeth Yensen, both of Chesapeake, Eleanore Cummings of Green Bay, Wis., and Peggy Tobin of Wausaukee, Wis.; two brothers, Raymond Brooks of Chesapeake, and Walter Brooks of Newport News; three grandchildren, Nickie Forbes and Scott Forbes, both of Chesapeake and Kristen Forbes of Ponte Vedra Beach.
The funeral will be conducted at 2 p.m. Sunday in Francis A. Gay Funeral Home, South Norfolk Chapel, by the Rev. John Keane. Burial will be in Riverside Memorial Park, Norfolk. The family will be at the funeral home from 7 to 8 p.m. today.
