Beeler P. ``Buster'' Keaton, 78, died Aug. 22, 1995, in his residence.
Mr. Keaton, a Methodist, retired from the U.S. Marine Corps as Sgt. Major after 30 years of service. After retirement from the Marine Corps he worked in club management for 10 years. He was born in Mineral Wells, Texas. He was a member of the Fleet Reserve Association Branch (NU)60, and he was a veteran of World War II and the Korean War.
Survivors include his wife, Helen W. Keaton; one son, Daniel E. Keaton of Mineral Wells; two sisters, Margaret Sue Lee and June Pendergrass, both of Mineral Wells; and three grandchildren.
The funeral will be conducted at 11 a.m. Monday in Hollomon-Brown Funeral Home, Bayside Chapel, by the Rev. Ernest L. Trueblood. Burial will be in Woodlawn Memorial Gardens. There will be a Fleet Reserve service at 7 p.m. Sunday in the funeral home with a visitation to follow. Memorial donations may be made to the American Cancer Society.
