Eddie Norfleet Bulls Sr., 95, of 16360 Drake Road, died Aug. 26, 1995.
A lifelong resident of Southampton County, he was a retired farmer and a member of Sedley Baptist Church. He was the son of the late Irving and Margaret Jane Bulls. He was preceded in death by a grandson, Melvin D. Bulls.
Survivors include his wife of over 60 years, Minnie Stieh Bulls; six sons, Eddie Norfleet Bulls Jr. and James Alton Bulls, both of Sedley, Bobby Stieh Bulls of Richmond, Jack Early Bulls of Amelia, Gene Donald Bulls of Franklin, and Michael Hugh Bulls of Orange; two daughters, Nancy Bulls Pfieffer of Cumberland and Sue Bulls Early of Richmond; 16 grandchildren; 12 great-grandchildren; and one sister, Lottie Bulls Branche.
The funeral will be conducted at 11 a.m. Monday in Holland-Rideout Funeral Home, Franklin, by the Rev. David Johnson. Burial will be in Rosemont Cemetery in Sedley. The family will receive friends and acquaintances at the residence and at the cemetery after service. The family requests that in lieu of flowers, donations be made to your favorite charity.
