Evelyn Johns Frazier, of the 5700 block of Ottawa Road, died Aug. 25, 1995.
Mrs. Frazier, a retired school teacher, worked for the Virginia Beach School System for 28 years. She was the widow of Charles Frazier, and was born in Princess Anne County. She was a member of United House of Prayer For All People, and former president of the Queens Board. She was a member of the National Teachers Association, Future Business Leaders of America, a graduate of Norfolk State University, with a Bachelor and Master of Arts in Business, and a graduate of Princess Anne Training School and Class S.
Survivors include three sons, Donald and Daniel Rhodes of Virginia Beach, Dennis Gregory of Virginia Beach; one sister, Florence Tyler of Virginia Beach; four grandchildren; and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends.
The funeral will be conducted at noon Tuesday in United House of Prayer For All People, 433 S. Main St., Norfolk, by Apostle A. Williams. Burial will be in Roosevelt Memorial Park. Community Funeral Home, Norfolk Chapel, in charge.
