Amanda Ferebee Eason, 57, of 146 Nosay Road, died Aug. 28, 1995, at 7:05 a.m. in Albermarle Hospital, Elizabeth City.
She was a native of South Mills, N.C., and was preceded in death by her parents, Emerson Ferebee Sr. and Cherry Harris Ferebee White; and her husband, Willie Augusta Eason Jr.
She is survived by two daughters, Lenora Ferebee Velzco of Chesapeake, and Deborah Ann Moore of South Mills, N.C.; five sons, Erwin Ferebee, Rudolph Moore Jr., Theophus Moore, Michael Moore, and Leon Moore of Elizabeth City, N.C.; one sister, Linda White Sutton of Elizabeth City, N.C.; and four brothers, Andrew Ferebee and James Ferebee of South Mills, N.C., Daniel Ferebee of Greenville, N.C., and Welton Ferebee of Camden, N.C.; and 12 grandchildren.
A funeral service will be conducted 1 p.m. Thursday in Open Door Christian Fellowship Church, South Mills, N.C. by the Rev. Joseph Thompson Sr. Burial will be in Memory Gardens Cemetery, Northside Road, Elizabeth City, N.C. Visitation will be today from 4 to 8 p.m. at Stallings Funeral Home, Elizabeth City, and the family will be at the home of the deceased.
