In an Aug. 20 story and photo caption on manufacturers making
deadlier bullets, The Associated Press erroneously identified one of
two brands of bullets that laboratory tests showed to be risky to
the people using them because of high pressure created by the
ammunition in a weapon's firing chamber.
The brands that create such high pressures are Razor and MagSafe,
not Razor and Glaser; the tests showed that Glaser ammunition
complies with the Sporting Arms and Ammunitions Manufacturers'
Institute's recommended pressure limits.
