Reading your article on state Sen. Clarence ``Clancy'' Holland of Virginia Beach and his brother state Sen. Richard Holland of Windsor (``Sibling ribaldry: The brothers grin,'' Daily Break, Aug. 28) reminded me of a rather good line Clancy got off a few years ago when I asked him about his fighting with Richard over the Lake Gaston issue:
Well,'' drawled Clancy, ``it's just a question of water being thicker than blood.''
