Mrs. Inez Pearce Hammond, 91, of Route 1, Box 283, died Monday, Sept. 4, 1995, in Betsy Johnson Memorial Hospital in Dunn.
She was a retired school teacher.
Mrs. Hammond is survived by two sons, Charles E. Hammond of Carthage, N.C., and Robert P. Hammond of Fayetteville, N.C.; a daughter, Nancy Gatewood of Woodbridge, Va.; a sister, Daphne Cowan of Portsmouth, Va.; and three grandsons.
The funeral will be conducted at 2 p.m. Thursday in Cedar Falls Baptist Church in Fayetteville, N.C., by the Rev. Floyd Benfield. Burial will be in the Spring Branch Baptist Church Cemetery in Fair Bluff.
The family will receive friends today from 7 to 9 p.m. at Jernigan-Warren Funeral Home of Fayetteville.
