Bay Diesel Corp. announced Wednesday that it has agreed to buy the Norfolk operations of Aalborg Ciserv Sunrod USA Inc. Bay Diesel and Aalborg Ciserv both repair and maintain heavy diesel engines for the marine industry. Aalborg Ciserv is a subsidiary of Aalborg Industries A/S of Denmark. Terms of the acquisition by Chesapeake-based Bay Diesel were not disclosed. Founded in 1992, Bay Diesel will add 15 employees to its payrolls with the purchase and will consolidate Aalborg's operations at its Richmond and Chesapeake facilities. Bay Diesel also provides diesel service for industrial, construction and power generation markets. by CNB
