William ``Bill'' Meyers, 78, of the 6000 block of Newport Ave., died Sept. 7, 1995, in Norfolk.
Mr. Meyers was a native of Frosburg, Maryland. He was an Army veteran of World War II and was a proprietor of Zedd Grocery in South Norfolk for 30 years. He was preceded in death by his son, Bradford Ross Meyers, and his mother and father-in-law, Harry and Rebecca Zedd.
Survivors include his wife, Bessie Zedd Meyers of Norfolk; two daughters, Raylyn Meyers O'Toole of Virginia Beach, Patricia Ann Kline and her husband, Herbert, of McLean, Va.; a son, Jeffery Scott Meyers, and his wife, Linda, of Virginia Beach; a sister, Ruth Gittlin of New York; and one grandson.
A graveside service wil be conducted at 3 p.m. today in Forest Lawn Cemetery by Rabbi Lawrence A. Forman. Memorial donations may be made to Sentara Norfolk General Hospice. H.D. Oliver Funeral Apts., Norfolk Chapel, is in charge of arrangements.
