William F. Lee, 81, husband of Peanie S. Lee, died Sept. 6, 1995, in DePaul Medical Center.
Mr. Lee was born in Campbell County, Va., and was the son of the late William E. and Gladys Lee. He was vice president of Old Dominion Stevedoring Corp. when he retired, after 43 years of service. He was a member of Ocean View Baptist Church and the Wright Sunday School Class.
Survivors, other than his wife, include one son, David W. Lee, and his wife, Lynn, of Richmond; three sisters, Norma Driscoll and Nancy Cecil of Roanoke, Va., and Lucille Johnson of Pittsburgh, Pa.; two brothers, Jesse Lee of Orlando, Fla., and W.E. Lee Jr. of Lynchburg, Va.; and several nieces and nephews.
A funeral service will be conducted at Hollomon-Brown Funeral Home, Tidewater Drive Chapel at 11 a.m. Saturday by Dr. David Clay. Burial will be in Cedarwood Cemetery in Hertford, N.C., at 3 p.m. Saturday. Memorial donations may be made to Ocean View Baptist Church, 9513 Wells Parkway, Norfolk, Va. 23503. The family will receive friends at the funeral home today from 7 to 8:30 p.m.
