MARGARET B. MCCOY

Margaret Brooks ``Dinkie'' McCoy, 79, of 520 Jones St., died Sept. 5, 1995.

A native of Suffolk, she was the daughter of the late Waverly and Margaret Tebo Brooks and the widow of Raymond Wilson McCoy. She was a companion aide, a member of the Suffolk Christian Church, the West Memorial Bible Class, the Women's Fellowship, and Suffolk Moose Lodge.

Survivors include her son, Alan McCoy of Suffolk; a half-sister, Christine B. Young of Suffolk; a brother, Jack Brooks of Sandy, Ore.; two grandsons, Kenneth McCoy and Alan McCoy Jr.; and a great-grandson, Jacob McCoy.

The funeral will be conducted at 11 a.m. today in R.W. Baker and Co. Funeral Home by Dr. Bruce A. Havens and the Rev. Thomas Britton, followed by Moose Rites. Burial will be in Holly Lawn Cemetery. Memorial donations may be made to the Elevator Fund at Suffolk Christian Church, 216 N. Main St., Suffolk, Va. 23434.
