Justin Heywood Lee MS3, 22, died Sept. 2, 1995, in Waterloo, Iowa, due to head injuries sustained in a motorcycle accident, which occured while he was vacationing there.
He was born January 16, 1973 in Ft. Wayne, Ind., and was a resident of Daytona Beach, Fla., for a year and a half. He formerly was a resident of Troy, Mich., and Fort Wayne, Ind. He was a MS/3 in the U.S. Navy on USS George Washington in Norfolk. He was a 1991 graduate of Troy Athens High School. He enjoyed water polo and was a member of the swim team and marching band. His proudest achievement was becoming licensed as a private pilot.
He is survived by his parents, Mark and JoAnn Lee of Troy, Mich.; brother, Cory A. of Troy, Mich.; and his grandmother, Mariann Hile.
There will be a prayer service Saturday during visitation from noon until 2 p.m. in A.J. Desmond & Sons Funeral Home, 2600 Crooks Road, Troy, Mich. There will be a private dispersement of the cremated remains. Memorial contributions can be made to the Make A Wish Foundation, 913 W. Holmes Road, Suite 111, Lansing, Mich. 48910-44483.
