Alma Hendrix Stallings, 74, of Route 1, died Sept. 7, 1995, in Brian Center Nursing Home, Hertford.
A native of Gates County, she was a homemaker and a member of Sandy Cross Baptist Church.
Survivors include her husband, Dewey Stallings; one daughter, Nancy S. Dail of Belvidere; three sons, Richard Earl Stallings, Allen Ray Stallings, both of Belvidere, and Ronnie Stallings of Harrellsville; five sisters, Vivian Stallings and Juanita Trotman, both of Hobbsville, Lillian Stallings of Belvidere, Francis Bazemore of Corapeake, and Desma Riddick of Winfall; four brothers, Jim Hendrix and Elton Hendrix, both of Suffolk, Wilbur Hendrix of Sunbury and Robert Hendrix of Hobbsville; nine grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.
A graveside service will be held at 2:30 p.m. Saturday in the Rountree/Stallings Cemetery by the Rev. Hugh Mizelle. Harrell Funeral Home is in charge.
