Jeffery L. Tucker, 39, died Sept. 7, 1995, in his residence.
He worked as a welder for T. Lawson Jones and Norshipco. He was Methodist. He was a graduate and manager of the wrestling team at Cox High School. He was also a graduate of Woodrow Wilson Rehabilitation Center, and was past member of the Chesapeake Beach Volunteer Fire and Rescue Squad. He was preceded in death by his mother, Margaret Gunnison Tucker.
He is survived by his parents, Leonard L. and Rebecca Tucker of Virginia Beach; sister, Linda T. Horner of Hampton; a step-sister, Elizabeth and her husband Jim Hill of Virginia Beach; a step-brother, Ernest Dudley and his wife Judy Turner IV of Virginia Beach; three nieces, Michelle and Nicole Horner of Hampton, Va., and Jennifer Turner of Virginia Beach; and a nephew, Eddie Turner of Virginia Beach. He was preceded in death by his mother, Margaret Gunnison Tucker.
A funeral service will be conducted 2 p.m. Monday by the Rev. Ted E. David in Hollomon-Brown Funeral Home, Bayside Chapel. Burial is in Eastern Shore Chapel Cemetery. The family will receive friends at the funeral home Sunday from 7 to 8:30 p.m. Memorial donations may be made to Chesapeake Beach volunteer Fire and Rescue.
