Virgie E. Abrams, 83, of the 1400 block of Dory Drive, died Sept. 8, 1995, in a Virginia Beach hospital.
Mrs. Abrams was a born in Norfolk. Mrs. Abrams was preceded in death by three daughters, Dorothy Faye Schuman, Bobbye June Vitale and Jean Elaine Gilliam. Survivors include her husband, Phil Abrams of Virginia Beach; two daughters, Sandra West King of Virginia Beach, and Janey C. Smith of Virginia Beach; a brother, Leroy Edwards of California; 12 grandchildren and 13 great-grandchildren.
A graveside service will be conducted at 3 p.m. today in Eastern Shore Chapel Cemetery, Virginia Beach, by the Rev. Michael Simone. Memorial donations may be made to the Alzheimer's Assocation, 20 Koger Executive Center, Norfolk, Va. 23502, or a charity of choice. The family will be at 2568 Ocean Shore Ave., Virginia Beach, Va. 23451. H.D. Oliver Funeral Apts., Laskin Road Chapel, are handling arrangements.
