Detective R.L. Ross asks your help in finding the persons responsible for the rape and beating of a North Carolina woman Aug. 21.
At about 4:30 p.m., the 31-year-old woman was robbed of a small amount of money and taken to the 500 block of Ockawaha Avenue, where she was raped, severely beaten and kicked by two men.
She was later hospitalized and is recovering from her injuries.
The suspects were described as follows: a black male, 18-to-22-years old, with brown eyes and black hair, wearing a blue, hooded sweatshirt and jeans; the other, 18-to-22-years-old, light skinned, with brown eyes and black hair, wearing a white ball cap, dark shirt and jeans.
