Crawley A. Butler, 84, died Sept. 9, 1995, in his residence.
Mr. Butler was born in Isle of Wight County, Va. He was retired from civil service.
Mr. Butler is survived by his wife of 64 years, Callie Butler; one brother, Marcus Butler; three sisters, Virginia Davis, Nettie Harris and Mattie Poulter; three sons, Crawley A. Butler Jr., Gary O. Butler Sr. and Curtis Butler; four daughters, Callie Anderson, Daisy Evans, Vera Reich and Linda Jackson; 18 grandchildren and 15 great-grandchildren.
A graveside service will be conducted at 11 a.m. Wednesday in Rosewood Memorial Park by the Rev. Bill Douglas. The family will receive friends at Kellum Funeral Home, Bonney Road, from 7 to 9 p.m. Tuesday. Donations may be made to the American Cancer Society.
