Mary Virginia Roberson, 64, of Swanson Parkway, died Sept. 11, 1995, in a local hospital.
She was a native of Creswell, N.C., and was a member of St. John Baptist Church, Creswell.
She is survived by her husband, Charlie Ben Roberson of Norfolk; one daughter, Phyllis Marie Roberson of Portsmouth; one son, Charlie Roberson Jr., of Norfolk; one sister, Mattie Myers of Creswell; two brothers, Winford Boughton of San Francisco, and Warren Chester Boughton of Portsmouth; and grandchild, Keandra Patrice Roberson-Ebron of Portsmouth, Va. She leaves behind many loving relatives and friends.
A funeral service will be conducted at 1 p.m. Saturday in Metropolitan Funeral Home, Norfolk Chapel, by the Rev. Anthony Moses. Burial is in Roosevelt Memorial Park, Chesapeake. The family will receive friends at the funeral home Friday evening from 7 to 8 p.m. Family and friends will assemble at 2827 Victoria Ave., Norfolk, Saturday at noon for the funeral procession to the chapel.
