Robert Alfonzo Harper, of the 4900 block of Rachel St., died Sept. 8, 1995.
Survivors include his wife, Quennie Harper; five daughters, Nancy Felton, Deloris Boyd, Nina May Banks, Beverly Harper, Karen Johnson, all of Virginia Beach; four sons, Henry L. Banks of Chesapeake, Victor Mayo, Larry Dozier, and Floyd L. Banks, all of Virginia Beach; his mother, Sarah Gay of Virginia Beach; his step-father, Walter Gay of Virginia Beach; two sisters, Louise Anderson and Joyce Moses, both of Virginia Beach; five brothers, Edward L. Johnson, Earl Johnson, Mack Gay, Larry Gay, all of Virginia Beach, and Milton Gay of Fayetteville, N.C.; 29 grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren; and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends.
The funeral will be conducted at 1 p.m. Saturday in Saint Mark A.M.E. Church, by the Elder James Whitehead. Burial will be in Jones Memorial Park, Virginia Beach. Community Funeral Home in charge.
