GEORGE E. EVERTON

George Edward Everton, 66, a lifelong resident of Chesapeake, of the 600 block of Kempsville Road, died Sept. 11, 1995.

Mr. Everton was employed with Perkins Truck and Diesel Marine Services as a marine diesel machinist. He was a veteran of the Korean War, where he served in the U.S. Air Force. He was the son of the late George W. and Edna Perkins Everton.

Survivors include a brother, James H. Everton and his wife, Connie Everton; a niece, Laurie; and nephew, Brian; an aunt and uncle, Mime L. Perkins and John E. Perkins Sr.; an aunt, Mrs. E.M. Brickhouse; and several cousins, including John E. Perkins Jr.

The funeral will be conducted at 3 p.m. today in the chapel of Twiford Funeral Home, Great Bridge, by the Rev. Henry Napier. Interment will be in Chesapeake Memorial Gardens. Twiford Colonial Chapel in charge.
