Media General Inc. agreed to acquire several Virginia newspapers from Worrell Enterprises Inc. for $230 million. The papers being bought include daily and Sunday newspapers in Charlottesville, Culpeper, Lynchburg and Suffolk which have a combined circulation of 81,000 daily and 85,000 Sunday. The purchase also includes weeklies and shoppers in Charlottesville, Culpeper, Suffolk and Richlands, and in Greene, Madison and Orange counties.
