LUCINDA R. WILLIAMS

Lucinda R. Williams, of the 800 block of East Indian River Road, died Sept. 13, 1995, in her residence.

Mrs. Williams, the widow of Leroy Williams, was born in Franklin, Va. She was a member of New Hope United Church of Christ, and was deaconess, missionary, and willing worker.

Survivors include seven daughters, the Rev. Inez Dunston, Elizabeth Peede, Barbara Gatling, Dora Perkins, Gloria Parker, Irma Williams, and Alma Williams, all of Norfolk; two sons, Raymond Whitaker and Norman Williams, both of Norfolk; a grandson, Pernell ``Sweet Pea'' Whitaker; 53 grandchildren; 67 great-grandchildren; and three great-great-grandchildren.

The funeral will be conducted at 1 p.m. today in Metropolitan AMEZ Church by the Rev. Richard Councill. The body will be at the church at 11 a.m. Burial will be in Roosevelt Memorial Park. Friends may join the family at the residence. Graves Funeral Home in charge. ILLUSTRATION: Personal Photo
