Betty Jean Spencer Knight, 46, of Virginia Beach, died Sept. 16, 1995.
She was born in Raleigh, N.C.
Survivors include her husband, Paul W. Knight; four daughters, Dolores Townes of Sunbury, N.C., Connie Shelton of Norfolk, Tammy Reis of Chesapeake and Frances Spencer of Virginia Beach; a son, Michael McClain of Norfolk; her father, Charles E. Norton of Willow Springs, N.C.; two sisters, Katie Woodall of Raleigh, N.C. and Linda Ashley of Chesapeake; a brother, Dalas Norton of Raleigh, N.C.; and five grandchildren.
A funeral will be conducted at 2 p.m. Wednesday in Hollomon-Brown Funeral Home, Kempsville Chapel, by the Rev. Kelly J. Burris. Burial will be in Rosewood Memorial Park. The family will receive friends from 7 to 9 p.m. Tuesday at the funeral home.
