CECIL G. NELSON

Cecil G. Nelson, 73, of the 1500 block of Campostella Road, died Sept. 18, 1995, in Chesapeake.

Mr. Nelson, a retired merchant seaman, worked for Northeast Towing. He was born in Fries, Va., and was a member of First Presbyterian Church of South Norfolk, Chesapeake, and the Seafarers International Union.

Survivors include his wife, Virginia Dilloh Nelson; one sister, Geneva N. Gibson of Radford, Va.; one half-sister, Katherine Carroll of Martinsville, Va.; one foster brother, William Seagle of Chesapeake; and several special nieces and nephews.

The funeral will be conducted at 1 p.m. Wednesday in Graham Funeral Home, South Norfolk Chapel, by the Rev. Jan Scully. Burial will be in Riverside Memorial Park. The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 7 to 8 p.m. today, and at 1217 Holly St., at all other times.
