Larry William Honeycutt, 51, of the 400 block of Middle Gibbs Road, died Sept. 16, 1995, in his residence.
He was a retired chief petty officer and a Vietnam veteran with 20 years service in the U.S. Navy. Mr. Honeycutt was a member of the Cottonville Baptist Church, Cottonville, N.C. He was the son of the late Vance and Clara Gallimore Honeycutt and was preceded in death by a daughter, Wanda Jean Honeycutt; and two brothers, Ray and Haywood Honeycutt.
He is survived by his wife, Fawnette M. Honeycutt; two daughters, Julia Honeycutt of Kannapolis, N.C., Marie Evans of Charlotte, N.C.; two sons, Troy Honeycutt of Stanley, N.C., and John William Honeycutt of Knotts Island; three sisters, Lottie Osborne of Norwood, N.C., Tom Aldridge of Concord, N.C., and Virginia Dunn of Lumberton, N.C.; four brothers, Harold Honeycutt of China Grove, N.C., David and Eugene Honeycutt, both of Lancaster, N.C., Charles Honeycutt of Norwood; two stepdaughters, Jessica and Jennifer Rosser, both of Michigan; and nine grandchildren.
The family will receive friends from 7 to 9 p.m. today in Twiford Colonial Chapel, Great Bridge, Chesapeake. A graveside service with full military honors will be conducted Thursday in Salisbury National Cemetery, Salisbury, N.C.
