Joe Marcus Felix, 78, of the 1900 block of Ames Circle W., died Sept. 20, 1995, in his home.
Mr. Felix, a native of San Jose, Calif., was retired from the U.S. Navy after 22 years and was retired from Metropolitan Life after 24 years. He was a member of the American Legion and Tall Cedars of Lebanon, Portsmouth. He was a charter member of the Masonic Lodge of Pearl Harbor.
Survivors include his wife, Elenora C. Felix; two daughters, Carol J. Tatum and Alexis F. Hughes, both of Chesapeake; four grandchildren, Veronica Bircher, Tracy Cole, Kimberly Hughes, Marcus Hughes; and five great-grandchildren.
A funeral service will be held at 10 a.m. Saturday in Baker-Foster Funeral Home, Bennett's Creek Chapel, by the Rev. James C. Griffin. Burial, with Military honors, will be in Meadowbrook Mausoleum, Suffolk. Friends may join the family Friday from 7 to 8 p.m. at the funeral home. Memorial donations may be made to Sentara Cancer Institute, Norfolk.
