Several of the nation's best-known Christian evangelists will be in Virginia Beach next week for the Christian Broadcasting Network's ``Seven Days Ablaze Revival Festival '95.''
The weeklong event of non-stop services will launch a five-year worldwide campaign to share the Gospel message with 500 million people.
Featured speakers include Oral Roberts, Robert Schuller, T.D. Jakes, Mario Murillo, James Robison, Benny Hinn and T.L. Osborne.
A 5,000-seat tent has been erected outside the Founders Inn and Conference Center at Indian River Road and Centerville Turnpike for the services, which begin at 6:30 p.m. daily Sunday through Saturday.
Local churches - including Rock Church, Kempsville Presbyterian, London Bridge Baptist and Word of Life Christian Center - will provide the music from 6:30 to 8 p.m., followed by the night's featured evangelist.
Prayer breakfasts will be held at 7 a.m. daily at the Founders Inn, and noon chapel services are planned each day inside the tent. Breakfast speakers include Schuller, Ben Kinchlow and Floyd McClung, among others.
All services are free, except the breakfast, which costs $8.95 and requires reservations.
The revival will open Sunday night with a videotaped greeting from the Rev. Billy Graham and a message by Pat Robertson. It will conclude Oct. 1 with a Gospel Flame Ceremony at 5:30 p.m. Prayer breakfasts and noon chapel services will be held Monday through Saturday.
Services will be taped for broadcast on ``The 700 Club.''
