Etta Turner Akehurst, 94, of Westminster Canterbury, died Sept. 18, 1995.
Mrs. Akehurst was the widow of Louis A. Akehurst. She was born in Pungoteague, Va., and was a member of St. Christopher's Episcopal Church of Portsmouth.
Mrs. Akehurst's survivors include her son, Louis W. Akehurst, and daughter-in-law, Jean Gooch Akehurst, both of Tampa, Fla.; brother, Wilson Turner of Norfolk; two grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; two great-great-grandchildren; and nephew John Rouse of Harrisonburg, Va.
