Barbara Rose Brockwell Kingdon, 69, died Sept. 22, 1995, in Virginia Beach General Hospital.
``Bobbie,'' as she was called by her family and friends, was a retired Federal employee who spent most of her 24 years of service in the security department at the Norfolk Naval Shipyard in Portsmouth.
She is survived by her husband, Franklyn S. Kingdon; one daughter, Celeste R. Kingdon Kennedy; four grandchildren, Nathanael, Benjamin, John, and Kristen Kennedy; and two brothers, Donald R. Godfrey and Daniel P. Brockwell.
A graveside service will be held in Greenlawn Memorial Gardens, Chesapeake, at 11 a.m. Tuesday. Hollomon-Brown Funeral Home, Great Neck Chapel, is in charge.
