Josephine R. ``Jo'' Scott, 81, of the 900 block of Armfield Circle, died Sept. 23, 1995, in Virginia Beach General Hospital.
Mrs. Scott was born in Portsmouth and was retired. She was a member of Calvin Presbyterian Church, where she was also a Sunday School teacher, and was a member of Old Dominion Republican Women's Club. She was preceded in death by her husband, Richard B. Scott Sr., her mother, Mary Ellen Reynolds, and father, John Walter Reynolds.
Survivors include two daughters, Jo-Ann S. Fitzgerald and Bebe S. Sicilia; three sons, Percy K. ``Buddy'' Scott, Richard B. Scott Jr. and Roy F. Scott; two sisters, Ruth Turner and Ann Stamey; one brother, Jay B. Reynolds; 16 grandchildren; and 12 great-grandchildren.
A graveside service will be at 11 a.m. Wednesday in Forest Lawn Cemetery by the Rev. Bob DeWitt. P.G. Thomasson Funeral Services Inc., Virginia Beach, is handling arrangements. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Calvin Presbyterian Church or to Jewish Family Services.
