Julian S. Pernites, 66, of the 4000 block of Windsor Gate Place, died Sept. 26, 1995, in Nassawadox, Va.
Mr. Pernites, a mess attendant at A.P.P. Limited, was born in Baybay, Leyte, the Philippines. He attended St. Gregory the Great Catholic Church, Virginia Beach. He was a guerrilla during the Japanese occupation of the Philippines during World War II.
Survivors include one brother and sister-in-law, Vicente S. Pernites and Carolina R. Pernites of Virginia Beach; a niece, Josephine R. Pernites; and two nephews, Raul R. Pernites and Adrian R. Pernites.
The family will receive friends at Smith and Williams Funeral Home, Kempsville Chapel, from 7 to 9 p.m. today and Thursday.
