Inez R. ``Peaches'' Williams, 76, of the 3500 block of Seventh Ave., died Sept. 20, 1995, in Los Angeles.
Mrs. Williams, formerly of Norfolk, was the widow of Larry Williams. She was retired from being a cook for 25 years. She was born in Newsome, Va., and was a Baptist.
Survivors include one daughter, Gladys Dawson of Chesapeake; one son-in-law, Benjamin Dawson of Chesapeake; two sisters, Mrs. Bertha Golston of Los Angeles, and Mrs. Vera Forrest of Norfolk; five brothers, A. Vincent, Norah Vincent, L. Vincent, C. Vincent and C.C. Vincent; a host of grandchildren, great-grandchildren, great-great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews, great-nieces, great-nephews, and other relatives and friends.
The funeral will be conducted at 1 p.m. Thursday in New Galilee Baptist Church, Chesapeake, by the Rev. Anderson Foreman. Burial will be in Roosevelt Memorial Gardens, Chesapeake. Family and friends will assemble at 1907 Stonehurst St., Chesapeake, at noon Thursday for the funeral procession to the church. Metropolitan Funeral Service in charge.
