Willie Mae Wiggins, 74, of the 3000 block of Pruden Blvd., died Sept. 24, 1995, in Maryview Hospital.
Mrs. Wiggins, the widow of Willie E. Wiggins, was a native of Nansemond County. She was the daughter of the late Hardy Langston and Blache Moore Langston. She was retired from Planters. She was a member of the Palm Tree Baptist Church, Suffolk, secretary of Missionary, Pastors Aid, Hospitality Committee. She was an Avon representative for over 40 years and a member of the Local 26 Retiree Club.
Survivors include three daughters, Ms. Brenda Porter of Chesapeake, Mrs. Regina Durham of Newport News, and Mrs. Janet Boone of Portsmouth; four sisters, Mrs. Audrey Ashe and Mrs. Ledora Everett, both of Suffolk, Mrs. Nancy Holland of Franklin, Va., Mrs. Lillian Haywood of Dover, N.J.; two brothers, Mr. Emmett Langston of Portsmouth, Mr. Arthur Langston of Dover, Del.; six grandchildren; five great-grandchildren; and several nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
The funeral will be conducted at 1:30 p.m. Thursday in Palm Tree Baptist Church, by the Rev. Tony Boone. Burial will be in Carver Memorial Cemetery. The body will be in the church at noon Thursday. Crocker Funeral Home in charge. ILLUSTRATION: Photo
