Ramon J. Fogata, 42, of the 3100 block of Fairview St., died Sept. 27, 1995.
He was the retired owner of Victory Automative Repairs and was a native of Manila, the Philippines. Mr. Fogata was a member of Saint Matthews Catholic Church, Virginia Beach. He was preceded in death by his mother, Amparo Jarillas Fogata.
He is survived by his father, Luis A. Fogata of Chesapeake; two sisters, Gloria J. Fogata of East Rugherford, N.J., and Maria Lourdes Fogata of Philadelphia; and three brothers, Adrian J. Fogata of Chicago, Jose J. Fogata of Chesapeake, and Luis J. Fogata Jr. of Wayne, N.J.
A funeral service will be conducted 2 p.m. Saturday by Father Timothy Drake in Smith and Williams Funeral Home, Kempsville Chapel, Virginia Beach. The family will receive friends at the funeral home today from 7 to 9 p.m. A Memorial Mass of the Resurrection will be held Monday, Oct. 9, 1995, at 9 a.m. at Saint Matthews Catholic Church, 3314 Sandra Lane, Virginia Beach.
