A bomb threat called in to Manteo High School Thursday afternoon around 12:30 p.m. forced the evacuation of the school.
After a thorough search by police and firefighters, students and teachers were re-admitted about one hour later.
A bomb threat is a federal offense punishable by 5 years in prison and a $500 fine, authorities said. by CNB
