Robert M. Miller, 43, died Sept. 28, 1995, in Newport News.
Mr. Miller, the owner and operator of Fork Mountain Farms for five years, was born in Warsaw, Mo. He attended Community Baptist Church, Suffolk. He was a member of the Southeastern Association of Trail Riders, where he held the position of ridemaster for 1994.
Survivors include his wife, Patricia L. Cohan of Chesapeake; one daughter, Jennifer Haaskamp of Jacksonville, Fla.; one sister, Diana L. Smiddy of Jacksboro, Tenn.; his parents, Mr. and Mrs. George Brenz of Norfolk; one brother, William K. Doane of Norfolk; and several nieces, nephews, and his beloved horse, Mountain.
A memorial service will be conducted at 6 p.m. Monday in Hollomon-Brown Funeral Home, Indian River Chapel, by Pastor David Nicholes. The family will receive friends at 3317 Herbert St., Norfolk, and 560 Kings Fork Road, Suffolk. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the American Cancer Society.
