Guirino W. ``Jerry'' Paluzzi, 73, of the 1200 block of Laurel Ave., died Sept. 29, 1995, in Chesapeake.
Mr. Paluzzi, a retired chief petty officer, served in the U.S. Navy for 21 years. He also was retired from civil service. He was born in Aliquippa, Pa., and was a Navy veteran of World War II. He was a graduate of John Herron Art Institute, Indiana University, Indianapolis, Ind.
Survivors include his wife, Patricia Paluzzi; one daughter, Karen Summers of Chesapeake; two sons, Raymond M. and Douglas J. Paluzzi, both of Chesapeake; one sister, Lena Passarrelli of Greensburg, Pa.; three brothers, Guido and Gino Paluzzi of Greensburg, and Rinaldo Paluzzi of Madrid, Spain; and two grandsons, Brandon and Mitchell Paluzzi, both of Chesapeake.
The funeral will be conducted at 11 a.m. Tuesday in Hollomon-Brown Funeral Home, Indian River Chapel, by the Rev. Steve Nelson. Burial will be in Chesapeake Memorial Gardens. The family will be at the funeral home from 7 to 9 p.m. Monday. Memorial donations may be made to the American Cancer Society.
