Mary Stone Riggs, 77, of the 200 block of Lindsey Ave., died Oct. 4, 1995, in Chesapeake.
Mrs. Riggs, a native of Durham, N.C., was formerly a hostess at Sunbeam Bakery for 10 years, and Mary Jane Bakery for five years. She was a member of Oaklette United Methodist Church.
Survivors include her husband, Linwood J. Riggs; one daughter, Barbara Stone Foster of Virginia Beach; one sister, Joyce Gonto of Durham; and two grandchildren. She was also the widow of Johnnie C. Stone.
A graveside service will be conducted at 2 p.m. Saturday in Colonial Grove Memorial Park by the Rev. Sebert Rorrer. The family will be at Hollomon-Brown Funeral Home, Bayside Chapel, from 7 to 8:30 p.m. today.
