Sarah G. Ricks, 97, of the 700 block of Wakefield Ave., died Oct. 9, 1995, in a local hospital.
Mrs. Ricks, the widow of the late Richard T. Ricks, was a homemaker. She was a native of Norfolk County and a member of Antioch Missionary Baptist Church, Norfolk.
Survivors include one son, James R. Warren of Norfolk; one niece, Corrine Morgan of Norfolk; one nephew, Lindsay Ricks of Norfolk; four grandchildren; and a host of other relatives and friends.
The funeral will be conducted at 1 p.m. Friday in Antioch Baptist Church by the Rev. Dr. I.J. Williams. Burial will be in Calvary Cemetery, Norfolk. Family and friends will assemble at the home at noon Friday for the procession to the church. Hale Funeral Home in charge.
