Elsie Gardner Hamlett Russell, 70, of the 8000 block of Chesapeake Blvd., died Oct. 10, 1995, in a local hospital.
She was a retired computer programmer for Naval Supply Center in Norfolk. She worked there for 34 years. She was a native of Nash County, N.C., and a member of Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints, 2nd Ward, Norfolk.
Survivors include one son, Raymond A.M. Russell of Norfolk; and one brother, Raymond C. Hamlett Sr. of Norfolk.
The funeral will be conducted at 2 p.m. Friday in Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints. Burial will be in Woodlawn Memorial Gardens. The family will be at Hollomon-Brown Funeral Home, Tidewater Drive Chapel, from 7 to 8 p.m. today.
