If you're scouting around for something to do Saturday, try Girl Scout Expo `95 at Tidewater Community College.
They are packing a lot of activities into three hours - 1 to 4 p.m. - and looking for a lot of participants.
About 3,000 people attended last year's event. This year more than 4,000 are expected.
The fourth annual event will feature hands-on exhibits by the Virginia Marine Science Museum and the Virginia Zoo, 18th century demonstrations by Mahone's Forge plus games, demonstrations, jugglers, food, and musical entertainment.
Headlining the latter category are the Malawi African Dance Troupe, the Polish Dancers, and the Malestrom Band which plays music of the `50s and `60s.
There will be Native American demonstrations by Little Dove, an adviser for the movie, ``Pocahontas'' plus a visit with the Mike Murphy Drag Racing Team, driver, Donna Duncan and their alcohol funny car.
There will be no recruiting during the event, although it does tie in with this month being the start of Membership Year.
The event is sponsored by the Girl Scout Council of Colonial Coast which serves more than 16,000 girls in southeastern Virginia and northeastern North Carolina. ILLUSTRATION: AT A GLANCE
