AMY W. ROGERSON

Amy W. Rogerson, 94, of the 1200 block of Oleander Ave., died Oct. 11, 1995, in her residence.

She was a retired cashier for Oscar Smith High School Cafeteria. She was a lifetime resident of Chesapeake but was a native of Norfolk County, Va. She was the widow of William John Rogerson and was a member of South Norfolk Baptist Church.

She is survived by three daughters, Marion R. Rhodes and Alverna R. Park, both of Chesapeake, and Jonnie R. Hoffman of Virginia Beach; son, William H. Rogerson of Chesapeake; 10 grandchildren; 15 great-grandchildren; and one great-great grandson.

A funeral service will be conducted 2 p.m. Sunday by the Rev. Frank Hughes in Hollomon-Brown Funeral Home, Great Bridge Chapel. Burial is in Riverside Memorial Park. The family will receive friends at the funeral home Saturday from 7 to 8:30 p.m., and at other times at the residence.
