Mary Louise Whitaker, of the 200 block of South Newtown Road, died Oct. 10, 1995, in Sentara Leigh Memorial Hospital.
She was a native of Battleboro, N.C., and was the widow of Arthur Whitaker Sr.
She is survived by one daughter, Clara L. Murray of Hampton; one son, Wilbert Whitaker of Virginia Beach; sister, Annie Randolph of Washington, Va.; brother, Robert Knight of Battleboro; seven grandchildren and five great-grandchildren; a special friend, Elijah Wilson of Chesapeake; son-in-law, Joseph Murray of Hampton; two daughters-in-law, Ann Whitaker of Virginia Beach, and Sandra Whitaker of Chesapeake.
A funeral service will be conducted 2 p.m. Saturday by Elder Richard Richardson in Fellowship Church of God in Christ, Norfolk. Burial is in Roosevelt Memorial Park, Chesapeake. Fitchett Funeral Home is in charge. The family will be at 5805 Chippewa Road, Virginia Beach.
