Clarice Ann Thomas ``Big Mama'' Wright, 91, of the 800 block of East Olney Road, entered her eternal rest Oct. 10, 1995, after a brief illness.
Mrs. Wright was born in 1904. She was the widower of James Wright. Mrs. Wright was born in Norfolk County.
She is survived by three sons, James Wright Jr. of Norfolk, Ernest Wright and Elwood Wright of New York City; four daughters, Clarice Bartholomew of New York City, Betty Locks of Norfolk, Margaret Bland of Baltimore, and Mary Spellman of Chesapeake; one sister, Mildred Bright of Norfolk; 25 grandchildren; 40 great-grandchildren; 12 great-great-grandchildren; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
The funeral will be conducted at 2:30 p.m. Saturday in Abundant Life Holiness Church by the Rev. D. Small. Burial will be in Roosevelt Memorial Park. Graves Funeral Home in charge.
