Bruce Welborn Baird, 89, of the 3000 block of Hurley Ave., died Oct. 12, 1995, in a Chesapeake hospital.
She was a retired packer of the Norfolk Naval Base. She was a native of Davidson County, N.C. and a member of Old Community Methodist Church, Thomasville, N.C.
She is survived by four granddaughters, Mrs. Robin Enloe of Seaford, Va., Mrs. Kathy Hux and Mrs. Nancy Powell, both of Norfolk, and Mrs. Connie Wright of Martinez, Ga. Mrs. Baird was preceded in death by her husband, John Felton Baird and a son, John Alton Baird.
A funeral service will be conducted 10 a.m. Monday by the Rev. Van E. Brinkley in Green and Sons Funeral Home, Thomasville, N.C. The family will receive friends at the funeral home Sunday from 7 to 9 p.m. Graham Funeral Home, South Norfolk Chapel, provided the information.
