Thomas Riley Melton, age 33, died Thursday, Oct. 12, 1995, at Portsmouth General Hospital. Mr. Melton was a native of Portsmouth.
Mr. Melton was a farmer.
He is survived by his mother, Nadine Edwards Melton of Windsor, Va.; three sisters, Peggy Melton of Windsor, Va., Shirley Melton and Sarah Brinson, both of Suffolk; three brothers, Troy, Bruce and Alan Melton, all of Windsor.
A funeral service will be conducted at 2 p.m. Tuesday, Oct. 17, 1995, in Morning Star Baptist Church by the Rev. H.E. Diggs. The remains will lie in state from 12:30 p.m. until the time of service. Burial is in Tyler Cemetery-Windsor. The family will be at 22463 Courthouse Highway, Windsor.
