MARGARET E. OLIVER

Margaret E. Oliver, 81, of the 700 block of Crystal Ave., died Oct. 12, 1995.

Mrs. Oliver, the widow of William E. Oliver, was a retired welder at Norfolk Naval Shipyard. She was a member of First Baptist Church, Berkley, Norfolk, where she was an usher.

Survivors include two sons, Lonnie Cartwright of Chesapeake, and Samuel Cartwright of New York; four grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren; two daughters-in-law, Tommie Cartwright of Chesapeake, and Nancy Cartwright of New York; one niece; one nephew; and a host of cousins, relatives and friends. She was predeceased by her parents, Nettie C. Palmer and Herbert Palmer.

The funeral will be conducted at 11 a.m. Tuesday in Pretlow's Funeral Home Chapel by the Rev. Jethro W. Clemons. Burial will be in Roosevelt Memorial Park. Viewing will be from 11 a.m. to 8 p.m. Monday. Family and friends will assemble at 10:15 a.m. at 713 Crystal Ave., for the procession.
