Richard Hinton Sr., 69, of the 3300 block of Killian Ave., died Oct. 13, 1995. He was an S.D.I. U.S. Navy veteran of World War II.
Survivors include his wife, Faith G. Hinton; four daughters, Pearlie Mae Gilmore, Richetta Simmons, Doris Warren and Faith G. Jones; one son, David Hinton; two sisters, Gladys H. Simmons and Helen Anderson; one brother, Harry Hinton; 10 grandchildren; and eight great-grandchildren.
The funeral will be conducted at 11 a.m. Tuesday in Emanuel A.M.E. Church by the Rev. James F. Mason. Burial will be in Woodlawn Memorial Gardens. The body will be taken to the church at 10 a.m. Tuesday. The family will be at the residence. Fisher Funeral Home in charge. ILLUSTRATION: Photo
